Get Smart & The Science of Sleep @ Mother & Baby magazine

Goodness me! February's almost over and things have been so hectic around here that I couldn't find the time to feature the articles I wrote for Mother & Baby's February issue! First up, is my article Get smart, where I ask the question "We know how to make babies, but can we make smarter ones?" Second in line is an article called The Science of Sleep, in which I explore how sleep affects child development. To be honest with you, I didn't realise I was sleep deprived until I researched this article! There's still time though, so if you haven't gotten your copy, go get it now!

Gifts from heaven @

Sometime ago I discovered a cool online store operated by civil engineer turned stay @ home mum Henni, who resides in Selangor. Her store is called 'Gifts from Heaven' and I was happy to give her some well-deserved exposure. Check the article out here:

Be sure to check out her cool online store:

Henni gives the article above a shout out here. Thanks Henni!

A rose by any other name and Vientiane

I recently worked on an introductory article on Yangon for I found it difficult to address tourism in Burma, but decided to do my best to show respect for their delicate situation and not to ignore the issues involved.

I also wrote an article on Vientiane, where you can find an arch modeled after Paris' Arc de Triomphe that some call "a concrete monstrosity".
