Headache...
I'm taking a short break from writing to concentrate on, and hopefully finish, my thesis in time for the submission date that's looming just over the horizon. Please wish me luck and strength!

Imagine That & Stairway to Heaven @ Mother & Baby magazine
My cover story for Mother and Baby this month is called Imagine That! and it talks about kids, their imagination and how to encourage it. The second article is on child nutrition expert, Annabel Karmel, and as the title Stairway to Success clearly indicates, it traces her personal journey through tragedy and fame.

Sirih Pinang @ Essenze magazine
Here's my article for Essenze entitled Sirih Pinang: Cultural Containers, it discusses the habit of betelnut chewing in this region and highlights the lovely containers that the Malays use during ceremony.

Also, did you know that there's a syllabus designed especially for unborn babies? Check out how BabyPlus works its magic:
Now, on a more 'sobering' note. Here's a short article I wrote about spying on your teenage kids (if you think they're doing drugs).

You've got mail
What ever happened to the art of letter writing? I daresay the internet has rendered pen pals obsolete. In any case, you can still receive a postcard from an exotic stranger from a faraway land. How? The people at Postcrossing.com have seen to that. Nice to cling onto a bit of romance, no? Intrigued? Check out my article at Venus:
