Having completed and delivered my 6th assignment for Gorgeous magazine, I asked the editor if she would provide me with a wee testimonial... and here's what she said :)

Goodness, I've been so busy with Hari Raya preparations, it's been crazy around here! This may well be my last post for a while, since things are expected to get crazier, so let me take some time to tell you about a fabulous online boutique for plus-sized Malaysian women that I came across recently.

Called Trendy Confessions, it's run by the Jiar sisters. I found them so fascinating that first I wrote a brief piece about the store, and then I interviewed the dynamic duo for Venusbuzz.com!

I was recently commissioned by the good people at Go Eat Out to write five articles on favourite Malaysian foods. The first thing that came to my mind was - nasi lemak! Here's the article for your reading pleasure.

There are lots of great mummy bloggers out there, with great stuff to share, so I've been compiling a series of interviews with bloggers that I'd like to feature on Venusbuzz. Here's one on a lovely lady named Hanz.

Feedback from Baby Kneez Canada!

Two days ago, I blogged about an article I wrote on Venusbuzz.com about a wonderful product called Baby Kneez that's being carried by Malaysian online store Kasihku Sayangku. Ms Wong, Kasihku Sayangku's proprietor, was kind enough to write in to say that she liked the feature, but I never would have guessed that Celine Caron, the owner of Baby Kneez in Canada would write in as well!

Her email, which I received today, said:

Here's a recent article I wrote, which features my interview with a very creative lady who goes by the online name Mangosteenskin, or simply, Mango. She crafts the cutest rubber stamps I have ever seen! Do check out the article and her website!

What? Interview me???

I received a wonderfully surprising e-mail today, a writer for Personal Money magazine says she'd like to interview me about writing for extra cash *Shock* I'll update the blog if it happens!

Happiness for this freelance writer is...

... people telling her that they liked what she wrote. I'm sure every writer out there can relate. Recently, Ms Debbra Lee, founder/owner of Fit For 2, was kind enough to write in and tell me what she thought of the article I wrote about her and her studio in the March 09 issue of Mother & Baby magazine.

She said, "Wow! That is the best article ever! Thank you! I really feel like you listened and even though we have not met - you seem to know the real me!" Awwww, she truly made my day :) It's kind gestures like this that keeps me going. Be sure to check out her studio!
